AHCS as a partner specialises in being a key enabler in Primary Care clinical services joint ventures; offering networks, strategy & business expertise, clinical modelling, bid & contracting support, operational management and backroom efficiencies. By partnering with GP consortia and other clinician groups, AHCS enables such groups to have sufficient scale, resource, financial clout, risk taking ability and expertise to bid for and secure NHS contracts.
While many GP consortia have in-depth clinical expertise, they often require a portfolio of additional service streams and corporate management experience in order to demonstrate a sustainable service framework to facilitate the delivery of a broad range of primary care services.
