Project brief: The practice had outgrown its existing premises and is operating from a converted house in the town centre with limited parking. Ashley House were been appointed to provide a solution to relocate the practice into expanded premises from which they can extend the number of healthcare services. The new location had to be very close to their existing surgery due to the restrictive boundaries of the Meriden Estate.
 
Project solution: Two storey, modern, DDA compliant premises offering flexible accommodation, expansion space and ample parking all within 300m of the existing premises.
 
Points of interest: The development site at was acquired from Hertfordshire County Council and was formerly occupied by a Junior School. The remainder of the site was developed out by George Wimpey Homes and consists of a number of modern town houses and shared ownership flats.
