South East Hackney Primary Care Resource Centre

A much needed fit for purpose clinical accommodation for the community of Hackney

The aim at the new South East Resource Centre is to provide much needed fit for purpose clinical accommodation for a range of clinical services including 2 GP practices, Community Dentistry, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Optometry, District Nurses and Health Visitors and Speech & Language therapies.  This will be the first of the 4 planned Resource Centres at the heart of the Trusts Polysystem strategy, as outlined in the consultation document Bigger, Brighter, Better, to improve the health and wellbeing for the population of City and Hackney.

The SERC building has been designed to be welcoming, especially to those with the highest health needs (including the elderly and parents of young children) and to fit in well with the surrounding area and the especially to residential redevelopment proposals for the site to the North.
