Northamptonshire, St Luke’s Medical Centre, Duston

GP owned primary care centre including a pharmacy, optician, dentist and other private complimentary services.

Project brief:

Dr Astbury & Partners currently offer services from two sites. One is a large converted Victorian house and the other a purpose built but now outdated health centre. The GPs were seeking to consolidate their premises and relocate into a fit for purpose modern day primary care facility.

Project solution:

Ashley House were selected by the GPs to be their be development partner based on our experience of delivering high quality yet affordable property solutions for client ownership. Land was identified within the overall redevelopment of the former British Timken bearings factory that was being master planning for a mixed use (residential and employment) development. Part of the development site was ‘gifted’ via a s106 planning obligation and the remainder acquired by the GPs from the owners of the designated employment land adjoining the site. Ashley House designed and secured planning consent for the three storey building and have appointed Primus Build as main building
