Project brief: Following a competitive tender Ashley House were successfully selected in 2007 as preferred developer to design and build a new Community Care Centre for the residents of Stanwell, Surrey. Ashley House are purchasing a redundant Community Centre from Spelthorne Borough Council upon which to develop the new facility.
Project solution: Our architects have designed a purpose built state of the art Community Care Centre, from which the community will benefit from integrated health and social care facilities
Points of interest: This community care focussed project, which is due to start on site in early 2009, is being led jointly by Spelthorne Borough Council and Surrey Primary Care Trust. The project is the first of several which make up the 'Stanwell New Start' initiative. Ashley House as project managers have undertaken extensive consulation alongside the Council and the Primary Care Trust to ensure the building will serve the expanding population of Stanwell and the surrounding area well into the future.
