Project brief;
Phase one - To re-house Old Steine Surgery (now Pavilion Surgery) within enlarged premises, adjacent to their existing surgery.
Phase two - Refurbish Old Steine Surgery’s premises to accommodate Rock Gardens Surgery (now Regency Surgery)
Project Solution; Ashley House entered into a Partnership with a residential developer to provide a landmark mixed use development comprising of new build and the refurbishment of existing buildings.
Points of interest; The original buildings are Grade II Listed therefore detailed discussions had to be carried out with Brighton & Hove Conservation Department to ensure that historical features were retained. The new building incorporates an underground car park and a frontage which boasts an evening reflection of the Royal Pavilion opposite, as shown overleaf.
