Project Summary
Design and construction of a multi-user, two-storey health centre, near Grove, North of Wantage. The Centre is of traditional (bricks and blocks) construction with face brickwork and extensive parking for over 100 vehicles.
Points of Interest
Ashley House’s designs enabled the grant of planning permission in spite of the site’s greenbelt status. Sufficient land was bought for growth to 5000m², with planning approval for two further wings of 1000m² each. This allows the site to have the potential to be a mini-hospital and treatment centre.
As part of the deal, 16 acres of land surrounding the surgery were gifted to the Parish Council for dedicated open space.
