Serving communities with the provision of better care
Our Social Value
To improve access to better services and environments in the health and social care sectors. We help to improve outcomes across the UK by providing expertise to support clients (predominantly the public sector, charities and social enterprises) in achieving the most cost effective health and community care property solutions for their health and social care services.
As a business, our primary concern is enabling the provision of better care
We achieve this by maintaining a user-centred focus and developing our unique property solutions through entrepreneurial partnerships with key stakeholders. Working this way, we are able to deliver facilities that are not only ideally suited to their users, but which also have the ability to stimulate better health and quality of life in the community as a whole.
The Social Stock Exchange (SSX) was launched in June 2013 with the aim of helping businesses that deliver a social or environmental impact to connect with investors. All member companies must meet a rigorous set of criteria before joining, and produce an annual Impact Report. Approved membership of the Social Stock Exchange currently stands at 29 firms with a combined market capitalisation of nearly £2bn.
In January 2015, in collaboration with the SSX, ICAP Securities & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NEX Exchange) launched the SSX branded market segment for impact businesses. NEX Exchange is a Recognised Investment Exchange operating a regulated market and a growth market and provides a secondary market trading facility. NEX Exchange is supervised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Quality throughout all aspects of our service
Achieving a quality service and product, whilst responding to the demands of controlling costs and programme, is a fundamental requirement of any project undertaken in the sectors in which we operate.
People are at the heart of our philosophy, as it is our staff that promote and deliver our services. We hold an Investors in People Certificate of Recognition and are committed to supporting the training and lifelong learning programmes of staff and their requirements to fulfill Continuing Professional Development. For us, an informed and professionally motivated workforce is vital to our service.
We expect the same quality philosophy as ourselves from any specialist consultants and contractors we employ. Our appointment pre-qualification process includes the necessary due diligence into their performance, whether this be health and safety, training regimes or quality management processes.
We have a comprehensive internal Quality Assurance system based upon the development continuum, with
milestones, approval processes, procedures and audit trail to ensure a comprehensive delivery of quality. We also hold a Certificate of Registration confirming compliance with both ISO9001-2008 and ISO14001-2004, the latter demonstrating our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.
Ashley House ensures that our passion for quality pervades the whole project and team throughout the development process. We are passionate about delivering exceptional projects and use every opportunity to set standards in advance, choosing the right methodologies for a project, looking at sample work and different forms of delivery to suit the circumstances. Our dedication to quality is always well communicated and understood within the partnerships in which we work.
A culture of excellence
We take our inspiration from the communities in which we work and we appreciate the need for excellence in everything we do, including behaviour, professionalism and commitment.
